- Summernats (2-5 January) This annual street car spectacular is for all car enthusiasts.
- Flight: Drone Skyshow (24-26 January) Watch the night sky light up over Lake Burley Griffin. The Little Burley Markets are set up for all your food needs.
- Canberra Festival of Speed ( 25-26 January) A motorsport fan ultimate garden party with exclusive automobiles and interactive experiences.
February
- Lunar New Year Festival (1 February) Celebrate the Lunar New Year in Dickson with cultural performances, food and activities.
- National Multicultural Festival (7-9 February) Experience a kaleidoscope of colours, music & food from 170 nationalities. Saturday includes the unmissable food festival and multicultural parade.
- Royal Canberra Show (21-23 February) Farm animals, best in show, amusement rides, and showbags. There is always a mix of city and country at the Royal Canberra Show.
- Goo Goo Dolls (20 February) See this iconic 1980s New York City rock band live on stage at the AIS Arena.
- Enlighten (28 February-10 March) The annual light installation show is another must-visit event. With projections lighting up cultural institutions in the National Triangle.

- Braidwood Show (1 March) The Braidwood Show is an integral part of community and life in the rural township of Braidwood dating back to 1876.
