The Butcher, the Baker and the Merrymaker winter series of events at Pialligo Estate is an opportunity to get involved in the local food movement, learn some new foodie skills and warm up your taste buds with some local brews.

The Canberra region is known for cool climate wines, but our burgeoning local craft beer brewers and distilleries are adding a new aspect to our local producers. You can join these ‘Merrymakers’ at two unique tasting and dining experiences.

Each pairing, is based on Game of Thrones

Pact Full of Surprises

Head Brewer of Pact Beer Co, Kevin Hingston, has collaborated with the Pialligo Estate food team to create a four-course degustation menu paired with Pact Beer. With each pairing, is based on a Game of Thrones scene, Kevin will be talking through the techniques applied for each of the servings. It promises to be an adventurous and entertaining afternoon.

Established in 2015, Pact Beer Co is a Canberra based craft brewer.

When: Saturday 23 July 2-5pm

Wildbrumby Schnapps Banquet

Imagine this: a cold winter night, warming schnapps, a four-course feast and some old fashioned games; doesn’t it sound like the perfect way to a frosty evening?.
Wildbrumby Schnapps are bringing a range of their locally produced schnapps and liquors to keep the festivities going all night long.
The Wildbrumby Schnapps Distillery is based in the Snowy Mountains, between Jindabyne and Thredbo.

When: Thursday 28 July 7-11pm

Cost: $145
